MOFO celebrates 25-year anniversaryMOFO Operations Manager Dirk Parnieske with District Administrator Martin Skiebe
“We are very pleased about the active participation of young and old. It is fitting that so many parents and children joined in. Many local sons and daughters have completed their training with us. Currently, four fathers and their sons work for us, some even in the third generation. I think that speaks for itself. Perhaps we will peak the interest of some of the children present today for our admirable profession. We offer long-term career prospects. With our casting molds, we deliver the blueprints for innovative and successful TRIMET products in important future markets, including the automotive and energy industries,” said MOFO Operations Manager Dirk Parnieske on the occasion of the anniversary.
In plant visits, employees showed their families what their workstations look like and what they do there on a daily basis. In addition to the factory tours, visitors were informed at various booths about other TRIMET locations and their products. Meanwhile, the kids enjoyed the bouncy castle and Segway rides.
MOFO Modell- und Formenbau GmbH was acquired by TRIMET in 2003, shortly after the Harzgerode die-casting foundry. Today, together with the foundry in Thuringian Sömmerda, they form the center of the medium-sized aluminum specialist’s automotive division.
