Philipp Schlüter takes over management role in the European Aluminium Association

“Important industrial policy decisions are being made in Brussels, and the aluminium industry can and wants to make its contribution to these,” said Schlüter, who has already been a member of the Executive Committee for two years. “In addition to environmental and climate protection requirements, ensuring fair trade is one of the most urgent tasks.”
The European Aluminium Association sees itself as the voice of the aluminium industry in Europe. The Brussels-based association represents the aluminium industry’s entire value chain, from raw material and aluminium producers to aluminium processors and users. Some 85 member companies represent more than 600 production sites in 30 European countries.
