TRIMET is offering its employees free colorectal cancer screening

Colorectal cancer is common. Every year, 60,000 people in Germany develop it; for 25,000 of them the disease is terminal. Early identification can prevent the onset of the disease. A test to establish the presence of occult blood in the feces is the simplest screening method.
From March 8 to April 30, 2021, all TRIMET employees can perform this test free of charge, while their relatives can do so at a reduced price. Upon request, you will receive the test kit and you can send your samples to the laboratory, which will in turn send you the results of the analysis and inform you whether you require any further medical investigation or treatment, if necessary. TRIMET will cover the cost of the laboratory analysis.
The colorectal screening program, which was also run in 2019 and embraced by a significant proportion of the workforce, is part of a comprehensive package of measures adopted by the family-run company to promote the health and well-being of its employees in the workplace and beyond.
