Daniel Schwermer

Member of the Supervisory Board

After completing his training as an industrial management assistant in 2001, Daniel Schwermer began his career at what was then Corus Aluminium Voerde (today TRIMET Aluminium SE, Voerde subsidiary) as a commercial assistant in the areas of controlling and personnel. Since May 2004, he has assisted the “Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)” project in Voerde, and also acted as an idea management representative. From 2001 to 2005, he completed a degree in economic sciences in an part-time study program at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Essen, with a concentration in human resource management and controlling.
First elected as a substitute member of the Works Council of what was then Corus Aluminium Voerde in 2006, Daniel Schwermer became a full member of the Works Council in 2007. Since March 2010, he has been Chairman of the Works Council of the interim Voerde Aluminium GmbH, today known as TRIMET Aluminium SE, Voerde subsidiary.
With the enlargement of the TRIMET Aluminium SE Supervisory Board from three to six members, Daniel Schwermer was elected as the second employee representatives to the Supervisory Board in May 2016.
