Despite the economic turbulence resulting from the Corona pandemic, TRIMET consistently pursued its sustainability strategy in the reporting year. In doing so, the family-owned company takes all dimensions of sustainability into account.
"As a local materials producer, TRIMET makes an important contribution to the security of supply of the industry," says Philipp Schlüter, Chairman of the Management Board of TRIMET Aluminium SE. "In doing so, we align our actions with ecological, social and ethical criteria. After all, sustainability is crucial for the success of our customers and for the long-term existence of our production sites."
As in previous years, the Sustainability Report 2021 follows the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The globally recognized GRI standards define key figures and indicators on economic, environmental and social aspects of products and services. They thus ensure the transparency of the documented data and information.
