3. Cookies
We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that can be stored and read on your device. Cookies may contain data that makes it possible to recognize the device used. In some cases, however, cookies also contain information about certain settings that are not personally identifiable.

We use both session cookies and permanent cookies on our websites. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (1) (f) GDPR in the interest of optimizing the user experience and/or adapting the presentation of our website.

You can set your browser in such a manner that it informs you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. You may delete cookies at any time using the appropriate browser setting and also prevent the setting of new cookies. Please note that if you do so, our websites may not be displayed optimally and some functions may no longer be technically available.

Google Analytics
To ensure that our website is designed to meet the needs of users, we create pseudonymous user profiles with the help of Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies that can be stored on your end device and read by us. In this manner, we are able to recognize and count returning visitors. Data processing takes place on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (1) (f) GDPR for the purposes described above.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA (pursuant to Art. 45 (1) GDPR due to Google’s participation in the Privacy Shield) and shortened there. In addition, we have concluded an order processing contract with Google Inc. (USA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
