Our alloys are constantly being further developed in order to always be able to meet the growing technical requirements. We produce both standard alloys and custom-made products. The alloys presented on the following pages are only a small selection of our product range.

Recycling alloy with high ductility

You need a recycling alloy for high pressure die cast components with high ductility and energy absorption capability – we have it: trimal®-04
The trimal®-04 (AlSi10MnMg) alloy is a recycling alloy with reduced iron content, which makes it highly ductile in its as-cast state. In addition, targeted heat treatment gives the material a good energy absorption capability. The alloy is produced at the TRIMET Aluminium SE recycling plants in Gelsenkirchen and Harzgerode using selected scrap. show more

The trimal®-05 (AlSi10MnMg) alloy is a low iron high pressure die cast alloy that was developed for die cast parts requiring high static and dynamic properties. The TRIMET Aluminium SE smelter in Essen, Germany produces the alloy from extremely pure metal, thus guaranteeing excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. show more

trimal®-34E (AlSi0.2Fe0.2Mg0.2) was developed especially for rotors in the asynchronous machines (ASM) of electric vehicles. Similar to casings for electronic components or heat exchangers, these are produced in the die casting process. show more

The trimal®-38 (AlSi8ZnMn) alloy was specially developed for high pressure die casting. It exhibits optimum ductility properties in the as-cast state when compared to conventional high pressure die cast alloys. This is evident in its extremely high strain rate and excellent formability. show more
