Its guidelines lay down business conduct principles with regard to corruption, social responsibility and conduct towards competitors. These include fair working conditions, rejection of any form of discrimination, and health and environmental protection. To this end, TRIMET has drawn up its Code of Conduct to define the company’s behavior in terms of human rights and working conditions. It includes principles for employees, for those living near the production sites and for suppliers.

Beyond its production locations, TRIMET also strives to enforce these principles wherever the medium-sized family business can exert influence. As a member of the Compliance Initiative, TRIMET participates in BME’s annual disclosure process for the review of its standards.
